User Manual
IMPORTANT: Add smoke fluid before use. Never operate the smoke function with an empty reservoir.
Operating Instructions
1. Selecting an Operating Mode
Press the button briefly to cycle through the operating modes. The yellow indicator shows the selected mode:
| Yellow Indicator | Mode |
|---|---|
| Flashes once | Muzzle flash only |
| Flashes twice | Smoke only |
| Flashes three times | Smoke + muzzle flash |
| Stays on for 1 second | Power off |
2. Adjusting Smoke Output
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds, then release it to adjust the smoke output. Check the internal red indicator to identify the selected level:
| Red Indicator | Smoke Level |
|---|---|
| Flashes once | Level 1 — Low |
| Flashes twice | Level 2 — Medium |
| Flashes three times | Level 3 — High |
Higher settings produce more smoke.
Release the button after 2 seconds. Do not keep holding it down.
3. Batteries and Chargers
The package includes two batteries and two chargers. Use one battery while charging the other, so a spare is ready when you need it.
4. USB-C Charging
Connect the supplied charger to a compatible standard USB power adapter using its USB-C port.
During normal charging:
-
Red light on: Charging.
-
Red light off: Fully charged.
Some fast-charging adapters may not work with the charger. If charging does not start, try a compatible standard USB power adapter.
Disconnect the battery from the charger once charging is complete. If the indicator behaves abnormally, see “Charging Indicator Stays On” below.
5. Tracer Function for Glow-in-the-Dark Gel Balls
The tracer function illuminates glow-in-the-dark gel balls as they pass through the unit.
Press and hold the button for 5 seconds to switch this function on or off:
| Internal Purple Light | Tracer Status |
|---|---|
| Flashes twice | On |
| Flashes once | Off |
We recommend turning this function off when using standard, non-glowing gel balls.
6. Smoke Fluid Capacity and Refilling
Under test conditions, one refill provided approximately 8,000 shots. Actual results vary depending on the smoke setting and usage.
Check the fluid level regularly. Refill promptly when it drops below one-third of the reservoir’s capacity.
7. Automatic Shutoff and Motion Activation
The unit features a built-in motion sensor and automatically powers off after 20 minutes.
After automatic shutoff, gently move or shake the unit to turn it back on.
Additional Features
False-Trigger Prevention
The unit activates smoke and muzzle-flash effects only when a projectile passes through above the minimum activation speed. This helps prevent residual smoke from causing unwanted flashes between shots.
Slowly moving an object through the sensor by hand will not activate the smoke or muzzle-flash effects. The internal red indicator may still flash once, confirming that the sensor is responding normally.
Low-Voltage Protection
When the battery voltage drops below 3.2 V, the unit automatically enters low-voltage protection mode.
Smoke and muzzle-flash effects are disabled, while the internal indicator remains active to signal that the battery needs charging. Recharge the battery before continuing use.
Care and Troubleshooting
1. Minor Fluid Seepage
Small amounts of fluid seepage may occur because the cotton wick draws fluid through a feed opening. Restricting this opening too much can reduce the fluid supply and damage the heating element.
Key areas of the circuit board have a protective coating. Wipe away any minor seepage with a clean tissue.
If leakage is excessive or continues after cleaning, stop using the unit and contact LKCJ support.
2. Unexpected Behavior During Use
Turn the unit off and disconnect the battery before inspecting or cleaning it.
If residual fluid or moisture is present, wipe it away and allow the unit to dry. A hair dryer may be used on its cool-air setting only.
Never use hot air. Heat can deform or melt the 3D-printed fluid reservoir.
Reconnect the battery only after the unit is completely dry. If the problem persists, contact LKCJ support.
3. Charging Indicator Stays On
In some cases, differences between the battery’s protection circuit and the charger’s indicator circuit may cause the red light to remain on longer than expected. This behavior alone does not confirm whether the battery is fully charged.
If the red light remains on beyond the specified charging time, disconnect the charger and contact LKCJ support.
Do not keep extending the charging time simply to wait for the light to turn off. Follow the charging instructions for the supplied battery and charger.
